Anger
Management
This course meets most court ordered requirements.
Resolving
Conflicts in a Positive Way!
This eight hour workshop will help you identify and
manage anger, stress and conflict in a positive way.
Who should
take this course?
Anyone who has stress or anger in their life.
This may include: professionals, parents, court mandated
individuals, employees, employers, homemakers, spouses,
people making major life changes, commuters, and just
about anyone you know. You will meet people from a
wealth of culturally, professionally and
socio-economically diverse backgrounds. Previous students have included: dentists,
carpenters, auto mechanics, engineers, homemakers,
students, parents, military personnel, and court
mandated individuals. Anyone with a desire to learn new
techniques is welcome.
Why should I
take this course?
Everybody gets mad and everybody get stressed!
Anger and stress are a normal part of modern day life,
how you choose to deal with them is up to you. This
program will give you the power and practical tools to
manage stress and anger in productive and appropriate
ways. As a result, you will learn to manage anger and
stress instead of it managing you!
How long is this
course?
Each course meets for three weeks for a total of eight
hours. Seven and a half of these are classroom hours. In
addition, you will meet one time with an anger and
stress expert for an individualized consultation that
lasts approximately thirty minutes. You will schedule
this appointment the first night of class.
What
should I expect?
Be prepared for an informative, interesting, and
supportive classroom environment that provides you with
useful and practical tools that you can apply to your
every day life situations. Some people have said the
classes remind them of being “in the middle of a self
help book”. You will gain useful information that you
can apply in your own life circumstances. |
